| Solidarity
with Southern Sudan is an inter-congregational response to an urgent cry of
the church in South Sudan. More than 170 religious congregations form a
consortium, providing funding and personnel to train teachers, nurses, and
pastoral personnel in several locations in South Sudan. School Sisters of
Notre Dame has participated from the very beginning of the initiative, and
the first personnel went to South Sudan in January 2008. |
Solidarität mit dem Süd-Sudan ist eine gemeinsame Antwort mehrerer
Kongregationen auf den dringlichen Ruf der Kirche im Süd-Sudan. Mehr als 170
Orden und Kongregationen bilden ein Konsortium, das Geldmittel und Personal
bereitstellt, um an mehreren Orten im Süd-Sudan Lehrkräfte,
Krankenschwestern und Personal in der Pastoral auszubilden. Die Armen
Schulschwestern von Unserer Lieben Frau haben sich seit dem Beginn der
Initiative beteiligt, und das erste Personal ging im Januar 2008 in den Süd-Sudan. |
